Three sites.
One ventilation backbone.

A French  industrial ventilation group with 200,000+ technical references, two specialist brands, and a manufacturing arm. We're building three connected websites on a single Odoo backbone, with a customer-gated catalogue at the core.

— The starting point

Where CAD stands today,
and where they're heading.

⚠ The challenge

A 200k-reference catalogue with no online home and three brands speaking past each other.

  • 200,000+ technical references managed offline. No web catalogue, every quote handled manually.
  • Three brands under one group - CAD Ventilation, Unventair, LRI, each with its own audience, none connected.
  • Confidentiality requirement: catalogue cannot be public. Pricing and stock are commercial assets, not marketing material.
  • No mega-menu architecture for ventilation-specific categories (centrifugal, axial, EC fans, components, accessories…).
  • Downloadable technical files (datasheets, CAD drawings, installation guides) scattered across folders, emails, dropbox.
✓ The build

One Odoo backbone, three connected sites, a customer-gated catalogue.

  • Three Odoo Websites under one backend: CAD Ventilation (hub), Unventair (specialist line), LRI (manufacturing workshop).
  • Mega menu purpose-built for industrial ventilation taxonomy — categories, sub-categories, technical attributes.
  • Customer-gated catalogue: 200k+ refs visible only after login. Pricing, stock, downloads — all role-aware.
  • Cross-brand linking between CAD and Unventair — one customer journey, two storefronts.
  • Centralized library of downloadable technical files attached at product level.
  • Mobile-first templates across all three sites — most field engineers browse on phone.
— The ecosystem

Three sites.
Three audiences.
One backbone.

Each site has its own purpose, audience and visual identity. Behind them: a single Odoo instance, one product database, one customer base, one team.

The hub

CAD Ventilation

The flagship: full company story, the 200k+ gated catalogue, downloadable technical resources, and the entry point for B2B customers.

Gated catalogue Mega menu Tech downloads
The specialist line

Unventair

Branded site for the Unventair line, with its own identity but cross-linked to CAD for technical depth, catalogue access and shared resources.

Brand-specific Cross-linked to CAD
The workshop

LRI

Dedicated site for the manufacturing workshop — capabilities, equipment, custom-build process. Built to support the group's industrial production arm.

— Custom Odoo dev

200k+ refs.
Gated by design.

The catalogue is CAD's commercial asset. Pricing, stock, datasheets — none of it should be public. So we built the catalogue as a customer-only zone, with role-aware access controlled directly in Odoo.

  • Customer-only catalogue accessLogin required to browse the 200k+ references. Pricing, stock, technical files — all visible only to authenticated CAD customers, role-aware at the product level.
  • Mega menu for ventilation taxonomyPurpose-built mega menu — categories, sub-categories, families, attributes. Designed with CAD around how engineers actually search for industrial ventilation parts.
  • Downloadable technical libraryDatasheets, CAD drawings, installation guides, certifications — attached at product level, gated behind the same login as pricing. One source of truth for technical assets.
  • Cross-brand linking CAD ↔ UnventairUnventair products surfaced inside the CAD catalogue, and CAD technical resources reachable from Unventair pages. One ecosystem, two storefronts, zero duplication.
  • Mobile-first for field engineersMost CAD customers browse from a phone on a job site. Templates are mobile-first across all three sites — readable, fast, search-friendly.
